We would like to welcome Sandy to Michelle’s Place as a newer volunteer who works Mondays from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the office. She recently moved to Temecula from San Diego to be closer to her family, which some of us know as the Kim Goodnough family!

“I feel like I have been involved with Michelle’s Place forever because of Kim’s job,” Sandy said. “I just do whatever Kim asks me to do. Wherever she needs me to fill in, or help out, I will,” she commented. Sandy’s move to Temecula has made it easier to “formally” volunteer and spend more time with her granddaughters.

“I worked in real estate in the San Diego area for many years,” Sandy explains. She lost her husband three years ago and since then has retired from real estate.

“I am not bashful with people, due to my career in real estate, so I don’t mind talking with anyone who comes in during my Monday work shift,” Sandy stated.

In her spare time Sandy likes to travel, cook and read.
