"My name is Sandra Johnson, I am married to Don Johnson and have 5 daughters and one son. I worked in the beauty field for 38 years, retiring for the Riverside County Office of Education as An ROP Cosmetology Instructor. My husband, Don, retired from Fontana Steel after 20 years as an ironworker. We started Nottson Construction Company and sold it 15 years later. We decided to move to Temecula and retire.  Our youngest daughter, Candi, was diagnosed in 2002 with breast cancer. She was 29 with 8-month twin boys. One year later a wonderful lady named Marilyn Watson called her to be in a calendar for a place called Michelle's Place. Candi agreed and when they had their event, the whole family went. I knew after I heard Marilyn talk about Michelle and what Michelle's Place was all about that I wanted to be part of this wonderful organization. I have volunteered on Thursday afternoons for 7 years and have loved being able to help in any way I could. And Candi is now an 8 year survivor. Thanks Marilyn for that phone call."
