"I have been married to my husband, Ted, for 45 years. We have two children, a son Andy, Carisa our daughter-in-law and two grandsons (15 &13), and a daughter and son-in-law. I have worked on and off over the years for a financial company for 15 years, an office job for a trucking company for seven years, and finally retired from the non-profit organization Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) after working there for eight years. We moved to Temecula in 2002. We have known the Watson's for around 27 years, they are amazing. My husband helped in the beginning for the first Michelle's Place office set-up in Murrieta and I started volunteering in 2006. I wanted to help at Michelle's Place doing anything I can physically do. I have learned that the people we see and help are all very courageous, strong and positive in dealing with this horrible disease. I truly have been educated volunteering at Michelle's Place and it has been an uplifting experience."
