"Approximately seven years ago I read an article in the news paper about a popular young twenty-six year old woman who lost her battle with breast cancer.  Having never really known anyone with cancer, I needed to understand how her story began.  Needless to say, I was very moved by Michelle, her family, and their commitment to help other young women.  I wanted to be part of a team that worked so hard to make a difference for virtual strangers.  The dedication, compassion, and yes, love they give to people who walk in their door, is nothing short of miraculous.  I have witnessed miracles take place (my words, not theirs).  We will continue the education and information gathering to share with others about breast cancer.  It is a privilege to be a volunteer at Michelle’s Place."

Linda not only volunteers regularly for Michelle's Place, she is also an Advisory Board Member.
