"I am a real estate agent and my husband works as a political consultant in the San Diego area. I lived in Temecula for many years before moving to the San Diego area and am in the proccess of moving back to Murrieta this summer. In August 2008 my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and she came to me for advice, since we didn't really know much about it. She was scared and I needed to help her through this tough time. A friend of mine in Temecula told me about Michelle's Place and the great work they were doing. I called and was able to get some information and realized how important the resource center was to the community and the women who needed support. It was then that I decided to become a volunteer because I knew I wanted to be part of an organization that helps so many. Michelle's Place has been a huge blessing in my life and I look forward to helping others in any way I can."
