"I am a stay at home mom. I have 3 daughters Kennedy 13, Monique10 and Reese 7. I have been married for 17 years to the same man, Ron. We have lived in the area for 16 years since moving from San Diego. We both grew up in San Diego County. When I'm not busy cleaning, doing laundry or running errands for kid stuff, I enjoy cooking, wine and a good book although I can't remember when it was I was able to finish a book...did I mention I love wine? I enjoy hanging out with my girls, going to the beach, drinking wine (too bad you can't drink at the beach anymore). Ok, no more mentioning the wine or your going to think I have a problem.
What brought me to Michelles Place was the loss of my Mami. She died of gallbladder cancer. The cancer didn't kill her, complications from the radiation she had did. I first came in to Michelle's Place to donate her wigs. When I walked in to Michelle's Place I felt sad for women who need a place like this, and what a blessing that Michelle's Place is here for those who need it. Ginger greeted me and I started to cry. It was the ugly cry...I hadn't cried like that in a long time. I was looking for something to do with my time. I was my mom's caretaker for about 18 months and I was with her almost every day. I wanted to do something more than take care of my home. I am bilingual so I wanted to be able to help Spanish-speaking women. I've enjoyed meeting you ladies and you can feel the love in the office. God Bless."
