"Six months ago I started volunteering in the office at Michelle's Place.  It's been rewarding, meaningful and fun learning about the importance of the work done here, meeting the public at special events and health fairs and giving back in a way that advances the cause.  My long time friend, Ginger Koontz, led me here last year but my experience with losing two young friends to breast cancer several years ago has also been a factor in how important this work is to me.  I look forward to continuing to make a difference where and when I can."
