Michelle's Place was founded in 2001 based on the dying wish of 26-year-old Michelle Watson. Michelle personally struggled with the lack of support available during her battle with breast cancer and did not want another woman to have to go face this journey alone. Since the beginning, Michelle's Place has provided free resources to women and their families dealing with breast cancer. These resources include:
Today, the Center has become a premier resource providing more than 6,300 services per year. Michelle's living legacy has not only been realized in the services provided but also in the loving support provided to each woman and family member that walks through our door. After 11 years of serving the community, we look to the future and know it is essential for these services to continue over the long-term. How You Can Help
